The Library provides lots of programs and services for children. Just because you're small doesn't mean
you can't do big things at your library! There are lots of cool library services available to kids! Just look at
some of the things you can do...

Are you at least five years old? If so, you are entitled to your very own library card!
Membership is free! Just come into the library with your parent or guardian to sign up for your own free library card. Once you have a card, you will be able to sign out books, use the library's computers, do online research, and more...!








The children’s collection has been created for children of all ages! We have lots of titles to choose from. We even have movies and kids magazines, too!

The Library has two 'Early Literacy' computers reserved just for kids. They have lots of games and programs that you can play in English or French! Early Literacy Stations are a ground breaking educational tool for children ages 2 through 10.. The ELS computers tap into intrinsic learning. Kids are captivated by the interface and start to explore immediately. The ELS makes learning fun.





Would you like to see your favourite book turned into an action-packed, interactive cartoon? Well, that's just what TumbleBooks are: talking books! Now you can read animated picture books, read-along books and streaming audiobooks!

The Library now provides access to several online databases, two of them made just for kids! Have a homework assignment? Working on a project or report? Need information and resources? Login to one of the databases below and the easy-to-use picture searches will help you find tons of information. It's like using an encyclopedia on the Internet!
